I am thinking of getting a different hair cut. Right now my hair is medium length, about 2 inches below my shoulders, brown, and slightly layered. I was thinking about getting bangs with layers.

It's hard to say as we don't know how you look in real life. Just don't get thick bangs, or ones that hang in your eyes, because they make one look unintelligent, IMHO.

I have bangs with layers and they are cute!....The only thing you have to think about is if you'll be responsible enough to groom them..........its not that easy until you get used to getting up early to blowdry and straighten you bangs to the side....But if your ready for the commitment....GO FOR IT!!!

Have you ever tried bangs before? Not everyone can pull them off. I have a major cowlick that always made bangs look dorky on me...but if you can pull them off, then go for it!

I personally hate bangs. It took me years to grow my bangs out, and then one day I wanted a change and chopped them short again. I hated them. But, change is good and I understand what it's like to get bored with your hair. Go for it.
