Should I dye my hair blonde?

I have been debating becoming a blonde for years, but was always too scared to do it. I want to be a honey/strawberry-blond. Lighter than Jennifer Aniston but darker than Jessica Simpson. Hopefully some of you can help me make my decision.

Okay so here are some facts that'll help you decide:

When I was young, I had light, platinum blonde hair which eventually turned to dark brown as I got older.

I also have very, very, very pale skin and medium-brown eyes and a square jawline. Currently I have medium length hair, but it would be cut to about where my collarbone is before I get it dyed.

I'm 5'5" and 17 years old.

I also have pictures on my yahoo 360 account. The username is sylveeyahh and i'm the pale one in the pics.

So, I appreciate and thank you all for your answers, I hope I can finally reach a decision!

I say go for it, really it is only hair and you can fix any problem you encounter, you only live once!

If your hair is dark I say NO.

Dark hair doesn't look good lighter.

Blondes can dye their hair any color %26amp; get away with it, but darker hair can't.

It looks horrible when dark haired people dye their hair blonde. If I were you I wouldn't. If you want to do something with it using blonde, get highlights.

Well I think that if your still debating you should just get highlights for the moment then if you feel like its not enough then go for it! Because if you find out that you don't like it that much, well you have a slight problem, so If it was me I'd get highlights first then see if I like it.
