My hair is a medium brown and has great natural highlights. The problem is my dads hair is very curly, and my moms is flat and pin straight. It seems my hair can't decide what to do. I've tried cutting it short hoping it would curl, but it won't instead it does this weird wave. Is there any product i should use or stlye of cut i should try?

Really a funny thing. It is not behaving like either of your parents. Why not you consider yours as a unique one. If it is long and weird cut short and stylish or if it is flat try some heat setting process in a good salon to make it curly. Read some tips on these type of problems below.
