i had very bad damage done to my hair.

so i had to have it cut it now lays at the bottom of my neck. it used to be down the bottom of my back.

i hate it i miss my old hair the colour has gone horrible cos it used to be white blonde and now its darker . it took me a long time to get my hair the right colour as im naturally a brunette.

its still quite damaged. i wear extensions but it doesent look as natural and i miss how my hair used to be .

so how long will it take to get my hair at least a medium length.?

and is there any way to put hair extensions in to make it look natural/..??

Why not try to style your hair different ways while it's shorter, try wearing larger hooped earings, now that they can been seen better. I don't think it's your confidence that you have lost, it's just that your feeling sad that you lost your hair due to maybe improper use of the chemicals used on your hair, your hair should't be that damaged from good chemical services, so bad that you have to cut half of your hair off. If you stay away from the extensions and chemicals for awhile your hair should be back to medium length in about 3-4 months. Just try styling it different ways while you have it shorter so you can see what it's like before you grow it and keep it longer again.

it will take quite a few months for your hair to grow back to a nice length as hair only grows roughly 1.25 centimeters or 0.5 inches per month.

you could use heat defence spray if you straighten it, or shampoo and conditioner that helps protect against damage.

i dont know about hair extentions but..your hair will grow back about a month....dont wrry i no how you feel

if its that badly damaged you should probably go to the hair salon and get a hair mask to condition it. And you could probably get your extensions put in professionally. I wouldn't recommend buying them from the salon..its ridiculously expensive. buy them yourself and maybe ask your hair dresser to put them in for you when you go and get your hair done. But yeah..hair takes a long time to grow. Just keep trimming at the ends (cutting off the dead ends) and it should help your hair grow back a little faster.

It will take about a year to get it to a good length all over. I once had to cut my hair to about an inch long after having a bad perm. Of course it depends on the style you want.The top part will take the longest to get to a longer length.
