I would say my face is more square shaped. I have VERY thick black hair.

Is this type of cut a certain style that requires alot of money. Unfortunantly, my mom will only take me to the regular hair cut places that do not require any appointment to be made or anything. I normally just go for the 12 dollar haircut. Would they cut something like this?

They would, but it might not look so great if someone from like costcutters or someplace does it. Plus, it looks like an 80s mullet.

long hair with long layers can be made to fit any face. it's really great.

but make sure that your stylist razors it A LOT. the reason that those hair cuts are so cheap is because they don't know what they're doing. they'll say it's ok when it's not. if you dont like the way it looks make sure you tell them. because a lot of those places will give you very blunt layers and this hair style requires layers of all lengths so they blend together so well.

maybe you should save your money and ask your mom to take you to a nicer salon instead...
